Dylan began his stall as a lifestyle change to be able to spend more time with his family and incorporate them more easily and enjoyably into his working life. His philosophy is to make fresh, real food, from scratch onsite and as local as possible. His favourite saying “Doughnut panic, its organic!”.
Dylan specialises in traditional, real Belgian chocolate and homemade Davidsons Plum jam doughnuts (with Mum’s secret recipe jam).
Of course he recommends the best way to enjoy his doughnuts is with the classic coffee. They are also good with some good quality ice cream (as they are made with bread dough so its not too sweet). The very best way to consume is fresh and hot as soon as they are cooked from our market stall.
He reveals selling his doughnuts can be alot of fun, people share stories of family food traditions, and reflections of eating similar products in different cultures, whilst travelling and from their childhood. Dylan recall seeing a man quickly consuming (with much joy) a jam doughnut one day. The jam began to run down his arms, it almost reached his elbows. He politely offered a napkin and he responded with “No thanks, this is all part of the fun!”.
