Shanteya and Jo are a Bellingen based independent folk duo whose soulful harmonies, dynamic guitar-lines and percussive breakdowns give life to their heartfelt stories. This multi-instrumental pair will bring a smile to your face, a tear to your eye and, at times, a dance to your step as they take you on a journey from the depths of ancient forests to bustling French markets, weaving threads of Celtic, tribal, and French gypsy flavours into their songs along the way.
In 2017, after the release of their EP ‘Without Walls’, the duo began sharing their tales and tunes at a number of Australia’s festival gems, including Mullumbimby Music Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival and Bello Winter Music, where they uplifted the hearts of audiences from North to South.
